HERE IN NC , WE CAN RUN AN OLD LICENSE PLATE ON OUR CARS IF THEY

ARE 35 YEARS OLD .

I HAVE HAD A 1974 LICENSE PLATE HANGING ON THE SHOP WALL FOR 10 YEARS JUST WAITING FOR TODAY .

TODAY MY 2002 IS LEGALLY 35 YEARS OLD AND

1) CAN RUN A VINTAGE PLATE !

2) IS EXEMPT FROM STATE INSPECTIONS !

TO CELEBRATE THIS NEWFOUND FREEDOM , I CHANGED THE

PLATE TODAY EVEN THOUGH THE BUILD DATE ON THE CAR

IS JAN. 10 , 1974 I AM NOT WILLING TO ( OR DO I HAVE TO )

WAIT ANY LONGER .

By your logic, since most of the plates are in caps, we should all abandon lower case and type in caps on this forum. Seriously, why bother using English?

LMAO...great response..If we type very small, are we whispering? I think January 10th should be RIMSPOKE DAY and everyone will type with the CAPSLOCK ON all day in honor of the cars 35th birthday. In fact I will type in LARGE, BOLD, CAPSLOCK ON, INKA LETTERS.

It seems even funnier that typing in caps is perceived by so many, even on other boards, as being rude. If others treat it as a proverbial "poke in the eye," whether it is deserved or not, why bother posting that way? It detracts from the message, if there is any.

I frankly don't care. Yet it reminds me of using off colour language in mixed company. If you know some in the audience are guaranteed to take issue, why do it?
