the folks around NorCal know my 69 Chamonix sunroof, but for anybody else who's interested, here's a couple of shots of the car in it's current configuration. Paint, trim and interior is original (including the engine compartment), wheels are Ronal 5.5x13s, fogs are Cibie 35s (long out of production) - milage is currently coming up on 206K.

Now that I've got an acct set up, I'll try to get some of the other long-overdue photos posted as well (underdash speaker cans, 3rd brake light, etc, etc.....)

Good looking car Barry. Thanks for sharing your car pics and Photobucket experience. I too have just set up an account but haven't added all my pictures for "sharing". I like the way they appear within the FAQ thread and not as just attachments (which limits the description notes).

Any advice for the newbies for posting pics using Photobucket?

JG,

Here is what I have found with bucket. If you hold your mouse over the pic. it gives you options for the different type of links that you can use.

Direct Link

HTML Thumb

IMG Code

IMG Thumb

Flash Code

Link options

If you right click IMG code and copy you can post that pic in FAQ.

If you right click IMG thumb and copy you post that pic with a link to your bucket pic. (useful for vids)

There are more link options at the bottom.

The rest you probably know.

Bucket is useful for resizing, cropping, enhancement and such.

When you upload to your acct you can bring them in at different resolutions also. Also when you click on your pic it enlarges it & to the right you have the same options only at that bigger size.

I haven't explored all of bucket yet but use it for a holding tank for pics.

As stated, click on the thumb, it opens, then click on the IMG link. This posts the larger picture. There are choices, I use something like 600x800.

The other bit of advice, set up good folders so you can find what you are looking at. Set these folders up early. If you set up the folders early, you will not have to move photos around for organization.

If you move a photo that you have posted, it destroys the link to any posted picture.

If ya' want a FULL size one I can get it for ya from Mark...

Can't wait to see some of those Yosemite pics.

You can select the pics as a group and post them at once, using the generate HTML buttons on the bottom of the pages. The 800 x 600 format works well on the message boards. You can play around in the "Test Forum" on the FAQ in the administrative section to see what works. Here is a four click dump of my SoCal Vintage file.

Beautiful car! The stance is great. What are you running for suspension, wheel ET and tire size/brand? Hope to see many more pics.

in front / HD's in back, stock sway bars, stock rubber bushings throughout (I personally don't care for the harshness of urethane bushings on a street car).

Wheels are mid-70's dealer option 13x5.5 Ronals (with the only complete set of original Vial alloy lug nuts I've ever seen), tires are 185/70x13 Bridgestone RE900s (great tires - unfortunately out of production for at least 2-3 years now - wish Bridgestone would bring them back, or Coker would buy the molds and start reproing 'em).
