Some interesting replies & even longer journeys!! It's 2 degrees here at the mo & by the time I get in from work, it will still be dark untill the end of March, so hearing about your roads & weather in S. Cal is a real kick in the teeth!! Still, I don't have any emmissions testing for my twin DCOEs that I just bolt on without changing servos about due to right hand drive....HEHE.

Since I'm still a newbie, I thought my car did pretty well for my first major drive to last years V@V Event in NC. Having a multi-car caravan helped - along with a hastily installed Recaro driver's seat. The wind buffeting (windows down the whole way) made my left ear hurt.

I'm still amazed at all those folks who drive their cars on really long trips.
