I spent the week preping for an engine and transmission pull. It took longer to get the hoist off the truck and set up than it did to actually get the pair out.

The engine compartment needs some scrubbing. One worry is the drivers side motor mount on the subframe has a crack that was poorly welded.

The block is destined for the recycler. Two gallons of water and one of nasty oily sludge came out of the Katrina victim.
