The reason I am going to delete my back seat: my dog

No really but my logic goes this way:

My wife loves her dog more than she loves me

I love my wife more than I love anything

I love driving my 2002, especially if my wife is with me

If I can carpet the area behind the front seats, Buddy can go on drives with us

Buddy is not allowed in my other fun cars

My wife doesn't like going on drives in my "old" car, but I bet, if Buddy goes, she will.

I just need to make it a bit quieter, figure out a dog seat belt and I will be set.

Anybody know where I can get one of those?

I think I have one of those harness type dog seat belts that you can have. I'll try to find it in the garage. I'm just over in Watsonville.

I recently purchased a roundie that the PO had driven for a number of years. He had a Golden Retriever that was 16 and kind of loosing it's mind. The dog owuld bark at the walls at night keeping him and the wife awake. Since the dog loved to ride in the 02 he removed the dome lamp and would prop the passenger door open each night and the dog would sleep in the deleted rear seat area. He (PO) had removed the seat and installed a piece of plywood then covered with shag carpet.

I only had a car a few days before a friend of mine wanted to buy it and since he needed it so badly I let it go. There was no extra charge for the "dogbed"......
