1971 BMW 2002 Convertible. Only 46,906 miles on vehicle and 2K on new engine. Meticulously restored over the period of eleven years. A true labor of love. Only one previous owner. Everything is there, no detail missed. Runs and drives like new. Everything on this is either new or a hard to find factory part. Nothing overlooked during restoration. Glasurit paint is excellent, this has never seen rain or snow. Only driven on average 500 miles a year. The interior is black leather with real Louis Vutton insets. It's not your imagination. It has a '73 front bumper w/an earlier rear bumper. The instument panel has non-matching tach., speedo., & fuel/temp. gauges. The car has a squarie steering wheel, non-original seats, definitely non-standard seat coverings, & who knows what else they've done. It would be nutso to hand over $25K w/out knowing its full history and how many cars it is made up from.

The VIN is right for a rare 2002 Voll "full" cabriolet. If you can get over the butterscotch color and the non-stock dash, steering wheel and center console, it looks in nice shape. It must have an interesting ownership history, those Louis Vitton seat cover inserts weren't for everyone. I don't think this one will reach the heights of the last 2002 Voll Cabriolet ebay auction ($40K+), but it is definately unique.
