OK, don't laugh. I know these are getting really scarce, but I thought it might be worth a try on the forum. I am looking for a set of 15"x7"et25 BBS RS001 or 15"x6.5"et33 BBS RM012 wheels in good/average condition. Cosmetic color/condition is not a concern and will need to replace two of the outer rims (in either style) to get the proper offset for a 2002. I live in Seattle. I already know about the RMs on ebay. Whatchagot?

Ive got a parts guy in San jose with a set of RM's in 6.5 et33. Thought about them myself, but $$ is tight. The barrels look perfect and the lips are the 1" inverted i believe, and i want to say he was asking 1600. If you want more info, email me at jimsill@sbcglobal.net

I bought my RM's off vwvortex. Keep an eye on it and you can get some decent deals. I bought a set of 4 with garbage lips, fully intending to replace all four of them anyway. That forum moves pretty quick though. Don't be afraid to email or call the people with no pictures, most of the folks won't show any interest without pictures, and you're more likely to get a better deal if you're the only one calling.

As always with internet buying, beware of anything fishy, get pictures emailed to you, protect yourself (use paypal and cc, or pick up in person)

a few links to RM's for sale there now:

4x100 wheel FS forum: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zeroforum?id=800

very clean stock lip RM's, $1000 or trade: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4281634

Usable RM's for $700 in CA: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4307139

They pop up every few days, some for outrageous ($1500+) prices if they've been recently rebuilt, some for very cheap (as low as $400 for a set that will need new lips) Or you can find barrels by themselves, buy whatever lip size you want and bolts (from any one of a dozen venders or ebay) and have great looking wheels. They aren't hard to put together.

Memoryfab usually has a few sets for sale too:

stock RS for $1100: http://www.memoryfab.com/wheels/used/a20081017102804/

stock and could use a refinish $920 (probably just labor, no parts needed): http://www.memoryfab.com/wheels/used/a20080702002954/

They can also refinish/sell you new parts for/assemble wheels, but it all costs $$

Gl with your search!
