Bolt from Hell E30 Tranny.....Anyone

join the club....6 months ago i had a guy helping replace the tranny in my e30 and he ended up crying uncle

the car is still sitting on floor jack awaiting removal of one bolt from the tranny and one from the starter

i've been told and read that it takes a strange combo of mixed size sockets, extensions and finesse to get the remaining bolts out

i've considered rolling the carpet back, drilling holes in the firewall and trying to remove them from inside the car

Now I just need to swap the interior to black and repaint it red because with the tranny swapped it runs!
