OT: Happy Nurses Day

I love happy nurses.

Seriously, high praise to those in the profession, or more precisely, those in the devotion.

Even if they're MALE RN's?? I work as a cardiac RN. I am on break at work now as a matter of fact. Happy nurse's day to my fellow nurses.

indeed !- NURSE's are the back bone in any medical

theater.

I care now for my 83 year old Cadet Nurse Corps

mother who got the education of her life at the tail end of WWII

And male nurses rock - my mother had her first male nurse

experience while in hospital, and he has since come to our

rescue on the same floor when my mother returned about a year later.

Even though he was not assigned to her - he still straighted

out her meds with the nurses station. Maybe it was Nurse to Nurse

professionalism? And I don't know about the rest of the country,

but here in So. West Connecticut, RN's from the Philippines are angels

on our shoulders! Many have parents and grand-parents

who were in the sheit with our brave troops during Bataan and WWII.....

My mother and I have a deep connection with these young

Philippine nurses and we take the opportunity to let them know

that we know, and have great feeling for what their country suffered.
