these are the old type with raised letters, my painter offered to paint them for me - really - I didn't ask. A very nice surprise when I walked in the booth, before clear:

Why are you not headed to Virginia or North Carolina?

they are on Rob Koch's Alpina now, and they look awesome. The clear coat just ads a depth and wet look to them. Having the enamel painted one side by side is the only way to tell, that is unless you know.
