cooper calls the e30 "the boatmobile"... he had his end-of-school year "Kindy 500" box race today, and i had forgotten about it, until this morning. I had to do this in 2 hours, and forgot the side knee trim, racing #s on the side, etc....

Quite a while ago, I had probably less than a couple of hours to help my nephew finish off his Pinewood Derby car. He wanted it to be a submarine and they already had the tubular shape. We worked with what they had. Sprayed it brown, glued on some sesame seeds and a Columbo logo. Made it into the fastest loaf of French bread.

Maybe this wasn't a good thing after all. He ended up with a 2002 and on the FAQ.
