Put clean air in the tires, wiped off most of the dirt, car is almost packed.

Meeting Frank and Denise from upstate NY tonight for dinner at a good German resturant, get a good nights sleep then meet the other 2002 owners tomorrow from PA/NY/NJ/MD/VA for zippy ride down I-81 to Dobson, NC.

I love the sight at the host hotel parking lot. That is always a hoot to see the little cars there.

Everyone drive safely and "keep it between the ditches".

We appreciate Scott and Patti's work on the event and all the other 02 Group who leaned in to help Scott. "You have come a long way baby".

Now the big question, "will Scott find a TV that he can watch the Canes skate on Saturday night?"

Looking forward to seeing the Williams' and Greppo's again. I put some imported (German) air in the old tires, and filtered the motor oil through some old 100% cotton underwear. I think we are ready!

Hope everyone makes it safely!

Got in to the "other" Hampton (Mt. Airy) around 8:30pm tonight. Phew, what a drive. The Beater made it without a hitch as did the Touring.
