740iL brought in for rough running (cam timing codes, misfires, etc). Since the cam adjustment is accomplished via oil fed servos - maybe this is a clue! This goop filled the oil pan, and all timing cover innards. The kitty litter is from me keeping it under my workbench.

*THIS* is what the "recommended" 14K mile oil change intervals can lead to. Car had about 120K miles on it. Otherwise a very clean, well maintained car.
