When I was conducting my search I spoke to the owner of the Taiga green roundie. He was young, very capable mechanically, and did a lot of the work himself. It looks like a nice car for the price (note: I admit to liking green generally -- I bought an Agave, but I really like Taiga and you don't see it often enough), but I would want to look at it more closely in person. I think the owner has a photobucket site with more pictures of the car - try searching for this car in the classified ads on bimmerforums.com and I think you will find a link to his photobucket pictures. Good luck and show us whatever you end up buying.

I've actually tried contacting the owner of the green one to no avail. Been talking to the owner of the 1976 2002A though.

From the owner of the green one:

rust is mainly small bubbles under paint in a few spots, size of dime

some rust in the rear towers, no rot.

all stock.
