DC metro train collide killing six and injures many

Thanks, Armond.

It has really been kinda crazy here. What makes it so somber is that almost everyone that works in DC rides the Metro at some time or another. So, it was really close to home for most of us. One of my kids friends is related to the driver of the trailing Metro train (that lost her life in the accident). I do not live on the Red Line, but often ride it "uptown" for lunch because there are some great places to eat on CT Ave, WI Ave etc. Hopefully, the changes that were recommended years ago will be implemented and nothing like this wil ever happen again...very sad.

My wife and I have taken the Red line trains several times. No issues on any previous trips (on any of the lines).

One of my uncles who lived in Bowie, MD worked on the original construction project for METRO. I remember taking one of the very first trips when they opened.
