weber carb possible conversion

have a 76 2002 with water choke spanish built weber carb. there are issues with slow speed running and i haven't seen rebuild kit for this carb. should i go to an aftermarket 32/36 weber carb or is there hope for the origional one thanks randy

If your carb is a licensed Weber carb, the country of origin shouldn't make any difference. Jets and rebuild kits should fit Weber carbs made in Italy, Brazil and even Spain! If you haven't seen a kit, you haven't looked hard enough. Follow CD's advice and order a rebuild kit from Pierce manifolds or a similar vendor. I have no idea what you mean by an aftermarket Weber carb. Webers were never stock to the 02 and by definition all 32/36 Webers would be aftermarket.
