Let me count the ways. So I've been looking for a work car and yesterday was in the Subaru place and there was an '09 4k mile WRX there. I told my wife it woud be a great car for her. She was non-commital of course. This afternoon I bring it up again and she says what she would really like is an M Coupe. What a girl!

I don't understand, but my wife likes those too!, never driven one, but she likes them, even the Z3 one, she wanted one, even after owning the Cayman for a year, she brings it up! It must the "cute" factor!

Like they say: a happy wife is a happy life...

When I floated the idea of buying a Porsche, I explained that I planned on selling the 3.0 CSL and 318ti and trying to combine the seemingly completely contrary nature of the two cars (a semi-exotic sports car that can serve as a city-car/daily driver). She knew it was complete BS, but said: "If you buy a convertible, I'm fine with that."

Even though I wanted a coupe, I now own a convertible 911.

The only disagreement left now is who gets to drive it. But since I'm taking the touring, she does today.
