question in regards to chrome rings versus moly, which one..

I am rebuilding a ATV (suzuki 160) motor right now and have to replace the rings. Unfortunately there is no indication which one goes on top first.

It looks like there is a chrome ring and a moly ring. I am under the feeling that the chrome ring goes on top first, them moly, then oil ring.

The moly one is all black while the chrome one is...chrome...

Any idea ?

i cannot contact the seller/support fir the moment and i would like to close that engine today.

Chrome rings are usually on the top. Look closely at the shape of the ring (profile) The idea is that the actual compression expands the ring to seal the chamber.
