the bottom right hand is a 12 volt socket for cell phone chargers, etc. The small control in the middle is the control for a 6 disc changer that I have mounted in the trunk.

I love my homebuilt... but its a project I'm glad to have only done once.

I replaced the lights in the gauges with LEDs as well to match the stereo:

Mine is a bit more complicated because I didn't want any exposed screws visible. This means the whole thing is held together with bolts on the inside. Tricky, but I love the look.

silly question, but I just bought my car and on the drive home I noticed a green button (opposite the hazard button) and I was wondering if that actually does anything or is just a cosmetic button. thanks!

It's a dummy

I just read something about the faux switch with green cap in the old Roundels. Supposedly, the European cars came with a real REAR fog light switch - USA bound cars only got the "dummy".
