I guess that if it's a Touring, then it can't be a Diana. Would have been a cool find, though. The car doesn't have an power sunroof, does it?

It does have a power roof, and some really nice leather seats with matching door cards and dash..... Seriously, if it were one of the missing Dianas it would currently be sitting in my (locked) garage and I would be inviting bids!

the wheels are made by Stilauto (Milan) for the Diana's and were also sold as an extra in those days.

from a german site:

Über den Rennfahrer Hubert Hahne konnte dieses Rad des Herstellers Stilauto mit den Abmessungen 6 x 13" bezogen werden.

Es kam auch an der von ihm veranlassten Sonderserie "BMW- Diana" zum Einsatz.

Rough translation: "from the racing driver Hubert Hahne you could buy this wheel made by Stilauto in the size 13x6

It was also shown on the special series of BMW-Diana which he created"

Thought that was the only Diana survivor, and they were all different colours anyway and that looks like the same shade of turquoise.

There is another Diana in Spain. It was modded (even the four headlight grille was removed) and rallied, but IIRC the owner is restoring it back to stock.

Thanks Harry - interesting to know there's another survivor out there. Got his contact details? Never know he might be searching for a set of original style wheels. Hope they kept the interior otherwise that'll be a bugger to replicate.

The turqoise is in Germany and there is another one (the 6-cil model of hahne himself) also in Germany. There should be one in Austria/Switzerland and one in Spain or Portugal (the modded on as you can see on youtube) so 4 in total:

Nick, I believe that Fernando Vargas, who posts here frequently, has means to contact the owner. The photos above were downloadd from the Colombian 2002 message board, which he is the administrator for.

The car is at the Canary Islands, and there was talk that the present owner wanted to restore it to its original spec.
