Mine is 2719550, '71 too, made in Munchen . This should mean it's #550, right? And what does the number 19 mean? I guess the factory where the car was made, right?

Are you sure? Because my 02 is '71, just in the begining for the tii's.

According to the bible model '71 US Tii's ran from 2700001 - 2720114, which covered the production period between Apr 71 and Aug '73.

So either your car is newer than you thought or something is screwey - send your VIN to andreas at Mobile T and see what he has to say.

sorry - my bad, the previous vin range was for euro Tii's, not US. US cars start at 2760001 and go all the way through to 2782928 - Aug '71-Dec '74.

I thought all Tii's were made in the Munich factory??
