Yes Michael, that was amazing... only 18 perfect games in the history of baseball. I lived in Northern Indiana for many years and have spent some time at both the old and new ballparks on the south side of Chicago.

I grew up in Highland. I'm also a very big White Sox fan and don't even acknowledge the other (alleged) major league team in Chicago. Heh....

Jerry, I lived at Lake Wawasee, Syracuse, Indiana. I was an auditor and travelled throughout the northern part of the State... mostly in my '74 2002. Yeah, the Chicago southside rules!

I attended the second to the last game in the old Comiskey Park against the Red Sox. I lived in Cincinnati back then (another baseball town), and same year one of the Reds pitchers threw an "almost" perfect hit against Montreal. I was watching it on TV and Johnny Bench was broadcasting, of course they didn't say anything, but everybody knew what was going on. Leading 1-0 into the 9th, two outs to go, Tim Raynes (I believe) hit a single and then they lost the game! Of course no one will ever remember that game - almost doesn't count!

What an experience to those in attendance, wow!
