"These cars rust terminally in places you can not see, you will not find any terminal rust on this car. In 1991 the entire car was dismantled, panels were replaced, the car was painted inside and out and undercoated. The paint is not bad but it does have scratches and chips because it's 15 years old."

My problem is I can't see under the riveted rockers.

Did someone adapt California emissions equipment to a header?

unit from the days when a header was legal as long as it was a "direct replacement" for the factory exhaust manifold, including the air injection plumbing. I had a couple of cars with similar setups years ago - if memory serves, both headers cracked around the air injection tubes and were a pain to fix.
