Beckley, WV Car show 8/8/09: Some American Iron

The day of my wife's H.S. reunion, there was a local car show in a Kroger Parking lot adjacent to the hospital on Harper Road. Lot's of very nice cars and pickups showed up. To represent the "foreign" group, a couple of Hondas and even a lime green Porsche 914 were in attendance. Almost all of the cars had A/C installed in them.

No BMW's at this show ;-(. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Harry -

The Chevelle had 4-wheel disc brakes and lots of other goodies. I was impressed by the details and incredible paint jobs on these cars & trucks. I wish I had asked some of the owners for paint references.

I think there were about 65 cars in the show. They even had a small band and hot dog/drink vendor. I only saw a small white sign about the show Friday afternoon when we arrived in town.
