Bidding ended at $5001.09. Delivered car to Plano, TX as per agreement. Mohammad backed out. Couldn't even negotiate. Drove it back home to Arkansas. My wife followed me in the Solstice and got 31.5 MPG on the entire trip. But that didn't even make her happy driving 635 miles on a welched deal.

Second and third bidders bought something else.

Basically, he wanted Keith Kreeger's "Stella" without her paint and body work.

I could start listing the items he nit-picked, but suffice it to say he was not an enthusiast such as the majority of us on the board who understand how a car 35 years old can be "fun". Although never asked about, nor advertised in my ad, he objected to the crack in the dash.

I think he had buyers remorse from the start.
