being from the midwest this just blows my mind. that shell would be worth good money up here and there it sits. i guess its somewhat of a trade off because its a lot more special or rare rather to have a really nice 02 up here than it is in the sun belt.

i used to go to that pick a part all the time, just be glad its not as full of 2002s as it used to be. and i dont believe you can purchase the cars if they have been junked... but im not sure.

So would the best hope be to go the the scrap yard and cut off all of the panels? This is if it is impossible to take the car itself. I am sure that there are plenty of people in need of rockers and rear quarters. Its just the way these cars are. And if this car cannot be a car itself, at least it could contribute to keeping a bunch of other 02s out on the road, right? JMHO

I went out today to get the seats out of this car. It was stripped down to just about nothing. No windows, no trunk lid, no doors, no interior, no carb, no radiator, no dash. I mean not much left. I did manage to get a exhaust manifold with another members help. Also got the some other odds and ends.Thomas Kowalke

I pulled the head off but left it. I wanted the peanut intake but ran out of time. I saw that it had piano top pistons in it.Thomas Kowalke
