I want back in! WTB a roundie SOLID 02 in SoCal or SF

I used to post to the old forum back around 2000-2003. I had a light blue 72 2002 that i was in love with.

Many changes in life have happened since then (daughter who is now 8, a job relocation to Los Angeles, had to sell the 02 for a 'real car', etc..)

Any how, i am looking into the idea of getting another roundie 2002. It will mostly be used by my girlfriend to commute 45 minutes each way, almost 5 days a week.

I don't want to spend much of my time fixing it... so reliability will be key. I don't mind getting under the hood or dash every now and then... but not a project car.

If anybody is thinking of selling such a car (1600s are ok too), please contact me.

Looking for something clean and solid...

Of course a tii would be preferred...

I'm not in a rush but just putting feelers out there if anybody is thinking of selling.

stripped to bare metal before repaint. suspension completely stripped and rebuilt. 5 spd. reupholstery, carpets headliner. too much to list.
