Where to find trailer spare tire?

Hi folks,

I own a trailer of unknown original and manufacturer. I am about to take this thing out to Burning Man and I am desperate need of a spare tire. I have no idea where to find one. Any thoughts?

I have already called U-Haul and they are ignorant as I suspected. I am thinking of just taking the whole wheel off and going to some sort of tire shop.

Try your local marina. If they sell trailers they should have a wheel/tire. I buy my trailer parts online (http://www.trailerpart.com/), got a set of wheels with mounted tires for less than the tires alone (same tire) locally. It used to be etrailer.com .

Your local West Marine store (very expensive, major markups) or Tractor Supply Co. store or local trailer retailer will have spares mounted and in stock, if you need a tire immediately.

Call the local Big O tire store. They have them.
