I have had the car for 3 or 4 months. I have used it as a daily in that time. It is a lot of fun - too much - on the street and I haven't managed to make it to a track yet. I am selling because I think I want something a little more plush for the street. If I were to keep it, I'd put a cage, fire suppression system, and an external cutoff switch and go racing. It runs and handles great and doesn't use any oil. This is not a perfect car by any means. It was somebody's track car. Since I have had it, I have installed a new brake light switch, got the horn working again, and a few other small things. The steering wheel is not centered from when I fixed the horn. I can fix that in 30 mins or so if you want. That being said, if you aren't mechanical enough to do that, you probably shouldn't even think about buying this car. I took it to the landfill and it weighs in at a svelt 2350 lbs with about half a tank of gas. I removed the Rotas because the Advans are done. They will be included in the sale. I painter the bottlecaps white with red lettering - poor mans rallye wheels and put the Falkens on them. Both sets of race tires are included in the sale as well. I also have a box of parts - not limited to, but including B&M shrt shiter, spare oil cooler, tranny mounts, engine mounts, poly shock mounts, spare trunk lid, 2 trunk spoilers, etc.

Here is the previous owners ad:

I bought this car three years ago after deciding that I needed a dedicated track car. I was living in AZ at the time, and purchased a nicely cared-for CA car with 188K miles. Compression test after purchase showed very good compression and an oil analysis showed a very healthy engine. Over the next year and a half, I tore the car down, replaced all the rubber stuff, did all the basic preventative maintenance and got it track ready. Drove one track day and learned I'd be moving to the east coast. One year later, here I am. I love the car - it's exactly what I want, but I just can't use it like I want to out here - I need an all-weather, dual-purpose vehicle that I can register and drive on the street. So, unfortunately, the little devil has to go.
