A buddy of mine was in the Hacker Pit crew for years. I had the fortune of getting to be in the pit crew once at an IMSA Firehawk event at Mid-Ohio for the #2 Hacker team car. It was pretty exciting to see the #1 Hacker car beat team Honda. It was getting dark and the tail lights went out. They broke the tail light lense with a hammer, dropped a mag flash light in, taped it up and went back out to win, avoiding a black flag for no tail lights.

Our Corolla GTS piloted by Ed Magner and Bill Bastow raced against Hacker's MR2 in the Firehawk series back in the day...he smoked us and everyone else out there.

It's been a long time since I hung out at Road America, Mid-Ohio and Watkins Glen with these amazing folks.
