Drove a 2009 Camaro SS today

I'm on a roll this week! I drove a 2002 Porsche 996 Saturday, 2009 BMW 335i Coupe Sunday and today a May 2009 Camaro SS with RS package!

One of my contractors stopped by to show us his new ride (he just sold a Vette to buy it). It has a six-speed tranny, V8 with 426HP, 20" wheels and Brembo brakes. It even has a "launch control" button! I took it for a quick ride and it is very powerful - the 2nd and 3rd gear pulls are incredible.

The thick pillars and smallish rear window makes outward vision tough - especially backing up.

Pretty good room in the engine bay for access. I noticed lots of stickers with GM Canada on them.

Here is one view with my co-worker Chris after his turn (cell phone pics).

Here is the rear with owner Sterling (he is a huge NASCAR fan)

?????

Jesus Shoes weren't on my mind as I drove the car. A free drive in a new car (during work hours no less) will not be passed up by me.

That's perfectly understandable, justifiable, logical, and sensible, Jim. I was just momentarily confused by the shoes (actually, sandals). After all, Jesus would drive a Ford, not a Chevy.

Say, are those authentic Jesus Shoes? Just checking - they have to say this on the bottom, in order to qualify as the real deal.
