My oldest daughter, she bought her first car tonight! This is her first drive in it, after her marching band duties at the game.

1976 Automatic for $1500.00. Perfect first car. I am so proud...

(This car was purchased out of Northern Kentucky. It came from Pittsburg about a year and a half ago.. Anyone know this car?)

2002 newbie, and dead serious about it.

I still have my first car, a '59 Renault 4CV that was my daily driver for 14 years before I bought my first 2002, which I also still have.

We expect to see you both at future SW OH 02 gatherings!

Cheers and congrats.

Awesome!! Like her, I bought my 02 when I was 15 (three years ago), and it's been my only car.

Also like her, I played in marching band and hope to continue to find one to do so through college!! What does she play? I played tenor drums.

She's cute btw!! especially in that 02!

Did she ask where the iPod connector was?

I have one of those things in my 72, now i need to get an i-pod :-p

Jason - Are you going to teach her how to maintain & fix it?

It's good to see young people getting involved with 02s, though not having power steering can be a bit tough. She'll be one of the few if not only kid driving a BMW!

When I was in high school I could not afford a car- so I always managed to have girlfriends that had 02's...... I must say that 02's attract cool guys. Good choice!

I'm thinking of getting one for my daughter- though she is only 3 years old now.....

guess I'll just have to use it in the mean time........
