9 cars, 5 cities represented, 2 Us Tii's, 1 Euro Tii. I personally left a a lot of rubber on the turns.. I hear that others did as well. We had a breakfast, a great two part drive, and a great dinner/fireside chat.

Thanks to all who came and made it a good time. See you next year!

looks like a great event, I was tempted to go home that way from ofest, but I would have missed a lot of the fun stuff, next year already looks iffy, 10th wedding anniversary and 200th ofest in Munich call for a trip.

I hope to see you all at road america for cca ofest in august!

Sorry I couldn't make it... I was driving a boring old E30 at the time.... :)

Did the Chicken Coupe finish?

http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,50/page,viewtopic/t,329675/

Oh, I finished it my damn self. I got thrown in the car with 45 minutes to go and beat the shit out of it. It was a damn deathtrap at that point with blown tranny mounts, bad wheel bearings, something loud popping in the suspension, stumbling with no fuel left, and who knows what else. But I ran it wide open at the top of 5th gear and then slammed it thru traffic passing cars while everyone watched on the bridge.

Not only did it finish, but someone drove it home after the race. Yes, on the freeway.

And here's the exclamation point on the event, Eurotrash - my car's clock started working on the way home from your house, somewhere on 222 I heard the distinctive "clunk", and I was like "no way".

It hasn't worked in years.

Weird.
