Needed trans!

ok i need a 4 speed trans mine is going out and i dont want to be stuck not having the car not move, so if you have one let me know want it to be in the nc area but if not that is fine, but not looking for one that has been sitting for 8 years and you have no idea if its good and then you want like 150 for it!

so any help would be great thanks

are you looking for one to put in & use permanently, or just one to get you by while yours get rebuilt?

i will be some thing i will use till i get all the parts up for the 5speed swap

I have a 4 spd I pulled out last year. It works. 2nd gear synchros are not great, like all the factory units end-up, but it works, and would get you by no problem.

What is yours doing? It's not your clutch plate or 1 of your cylinders that's gone?

It's dirty, and I was going to give it to an '02 junk yard guy up here. If you can't find anything locally, let me know. You can have mine. I'll box it & ship it for you. Shppg might be $50-$60.

that would be great, mine it has a whine in it plus it is jurking at times likes the clutch is going in and out on it but the clutch is fine on it

are you sure the whine isn't in your differential? And your throw-out bearing is ok?

I'll send mine down if you like. It'll take me a week to find pkg... but I will do it. Just tell if you want me to for sure.

its the trans for sure, throw out is some of it but i will be getting a whole clutch kit with it in it when i put another trans in, but yeah just let me know when you find pkg for the trans and all i want it

I have one in a shop at Roxboro. Worked great before I removed it from my (other tii) four years ago. Wish you told me last week before I came to your place. Email. May be we can swap some parts if you still have any left?
