The euro knobs are very cool. I really like the cigarette lighter art. I'm not a smoker but it's so politically incorrect now that I can't help but like it.

I went that route recently after I refurbished my dash and removed all the lettering. Euro knobs look way cool (thank you Esty for the knobs).

How did you get the paint off cleanly with out affecting the sheen of the skin of the dash? I always thought the paint looked cheesy anyway. (I think the price of old knobs just went up on ebay)...Dave V. in NC

You can use rubbing alcohol, tinner and elbow grease. They will take the sheen off a bit (or more), but there is always SEM Landou Black spray.

I used a bit of laquer thinner to get the stencils off and it did the trick... but definitely took the sheen off too.

The next time i stop at Pep Boys, i am going to be looking for some sort of Armorall product to bring the sheen back.

Unless somebody knows of something?
