Great...

I visit my wife's family twice a year in Augsburg, just outside of Munich. This frikkin website is going to cause me and my immediate family great anguish, including, but not limited to:

1) Loss of marital bliss and associated privileges;

2) Loss of employment and associated monetary benefits;

3) Loss of personal security due to unfulfillable desires for sweet rides I'll no longer be able to afford due to (2) above;

4) Loss of sleep;

5) Tired eyes;

6) Carpal tunnel syndrome;

7) Bad posture;

8) Other pain and suffering not listed above.

Who's up for a class action lawsuit?

On a less (or more, depending on your perspective) serious note, that website features an extensive list of great cars. It pains me to think of these fine automobiles being trapped in Europe where they might be forced to perform at high speeds on autobahns and public racing circuits. The horror!?!

Agree.

Actually it gets worse: when you hit a car listed by a dealer there is a link to the dealer's website, and then things get even more interesting.

From my browsing the best deal seems to be that 1602 in Turin all covered with dust but with a time-capsule interior (almost).

There are a few tempting '60's and '70's S Class MB's out there.

Overall though you have to wonder because I also understand there's a great deal of interest from Europe and Germany in particular for reimporting cars from the USA.

Is fuel efficiency really what we need most desperately? I say what we really need is a car that can be shot when it breaks down.
