My Automatic 02 passed full inspection !!

I am happy, my recent automatic restoration went to full inspection today to get officialy registered and evaluated.

The guy says that he is inspecting cars for the last 27 years, and this one is better than new. Very very clean and like new he says.

He tested the brakes on a roller, and he got less than 3% error, which is better than a new 2009 car he says. The alignment, which i did myself, is perfect too, the car on the roller stayed perfectly in line, with less than 5% radial force on the roller. He was looking at me after each test with a grin on his face.

It passed 100%, not even a slight thing that was not "in spec". The guy just before me with his recent Z car, didnt passed for several reasons...lol...

This inspection is a testament to your dedication and to the fact that you did it all with your own hands without breaking the bank. Its easy to pull out the checkbook but its a hell of a lot cooler to do it yourself.

yes, with my own hands...when i talk about this car i say "the car i restored", my GF keep correct me "the car that you made"...

If i think about it, that car was 100% apart at one moment. Engine, transmission, differential, everything was apart in random boxes...

Now i drive it. I always get a grin on my face when i hear the 3 ratios of the auto trany taking off themselves....
