Apple Magic Mouse

From a design perspective, I guess it looks interesting but I am not sure when Apple decided that not having buttons and tactile feedback was suddenly a bad idea...

Have you used their "no button" trackpads on their new macbook pros? They're dreadful!

Hi Colin, Using a Macbook Pro right now. I had a unibody 15" and sold it to a friend and switched to a Macbook Pro 13." This 15" was a pain in the ass to use while laying on the couch / bed use. The hinge would release at certain angles. I took a big hit, but I am much happier with the 13" for lounging and travel use. The multi touch trackpad with gestures is really convenient. Once you get adjusted it's hard to use a regular trackpad. I agree, Apple finally realized they needed to embrace right click.

Five minutes ago I hooked up macbook with a mono price mini displayport to Hdmi cord/w usb audio to HDMI into a 52" hdtv. Monoprice finally released a cord to support minidisplayport with audio to hdmi. I am using the Apple wireless keyboard and the magic mouse and reading today's faq posts and responding to email from my living room couch with no cords! It's awesome man.

the track pads are great imho, but perhaps not for everyone

i really like the way the track pad and the new iphone use the same finger commands to do the same tasks

Have you tried or setup AirPort Express Base Station with AirTunes? I have been reading you can setup itunes to play wireless through your home theater system and download iphone application remote and fully control your library?

FYI there is an issue with the airport express where the power supplies burn out quite frequently...

Its a great device other than that though. In a studio I worked at we used it to stream audio from client's laptop into a super high quality digital to analog converter. Very nice.
