I removed the oil pan and checked all rod bearing for any excessive play and they were all good. The chain on the oil pump was too loose, so I shimmed oil pump. So, the bottom end is solid.

It still makes that noise, but after listening to other S14s it sounds very normal. It might be more noticeable when you drive because I removed heater core and there is a hole in the fire wall so you can hear every little clanking in the engine.

Have you ever heard of E21 M3?
