Whatever it's called, I would like to find one for the early clocks...not the one that's on the '74tii. From what I've seen, they are about an inch or so deep, and the clock bezel rests on it. Shipping to 71901. Thanks......... It's for this clock:

That's a very nice clock. Standard on the ti (not tii) and optional on reg. 2002's through mid '71, matches with the silver dollar instruments and chrome-like bezels.

Let me know if you want to trade it against an all black tii clock period-correct for 72/73, similar to the one pictured below.

So...my '71 can have the optional clock. Great. Think I'll keep it for now.

Good info.

In Europe it was an option and I would image that it was an option in the US as well, at least you could argue as such especially that the 2002 came standard with a tachometer and hecne, no clock. Hoffman did not like "special" options, but then again, money talked. All dashes are pre-molded for the clock, it's fairly easy to cut the hole and install the clock with the exception of the bracket in the back especially if you don't have the fasten seat belt sign on top of the dash.
