this is for a 1600. customer claims there are 2 rubber blocks (one each side) that attach to the door lock rods inside the doors to keep the rods from rattling. i know about the grommets obviously but ive never seen rubber blocks inside an 02 door nor can i find them in the etk. anyone know??

Yes, my 1973 tii had those rubber blocks on the door lock rods to keep them from making rattling noises within the door. One of them was really rotten, so I just used a small piece of self adhesive foam on the rod instead.
