I got one of the Vol (Band) 2 books.

I'm intrigued to see exactly what's in it. The outside title refers to bodywork, and the picture of the inside appears to indicate parts reference.

The 1600 manual, if it is in fact a service manual, could be the "find" as it may be a real early one (pre 2002?).

I don't have the listing anymore as I watched it and deleted it but if I recall right the Vol (band) 2 book is a parts manual. I asked for a print date from the seller but he was away from home at the time. This should only be the parts manual with no bodywork techniques in it.

If I recall the service manual was for the 1600 up to the 2000 & 2000ti.

That is IF I recall right. I'm getting old and starting to lose it you know.....

Regardless they went cheap..... That is better than a $100 or $150 boning.

Yes, it's the parts manual covering the body (not the motor/gearbox etc).

I already have a set (vol 1 & 2), but for $24 shipped I couldn't resist. I think the 2nd one (same vol 2 oddly) went for a few $s less.

If I had an early one I would have done the same. Interesting that it is body parts only. Does that mean Band 1 covers the rest of the car? That's an awful lot to jam in one book.

Besides the 1600 manual, that seller was selling two 2002 Band 2 volumes at the same time; and both ads had identical pics. I am guessing the seller actually had a 2-vol set of the 2002 manual and wasn't careful enough to realize it.

Probably busted up a functional 2-vol set in the process.

The parts books are pretty equal in pages. Vol 1 goes from Motor to Wheels.

Would have been a heck of a deal if you got both bands for that price.

I thought the seller was a car place or something. You would think they would know the difference in manuals being part 1 & 2. Too bad. They went cheap too.

I love it when you can get a deal on Fleabay. It happens now and then.

I really need to stop collecting these. Hopefully they will help my retirement fund in a few years.
