WTB - Donor Car for Chump Car Race Series

A bunch of Minnesota bimmer nuts are looking for an early, small and light car to use as the basis for a race car to enter in the chump car race at Brainerd Int'l raceway next summer.

Finding a basket case 02 in this part of the country that is not rusted away in all the wrong places is obviously going to be a challenge but we can forgive a lot if we can just find a solid body. Would also consider anything up through an E30.

Our net cost for the car (after selling off the parts we don't need) can't be more than $500 so we are not expecting much and we have access to pretty much all the spare mechanical parts we will need. If you know of anything reasonably close to us please send me an email (tommoran1@mac.com).
