Marc, we may have to postpone Tuesday, I don't see any way I can get the cars moved around and the snow moved by Tuesday.

almost two feet here in alexandria. 75 is officially done for the winter. time to start taking the interior out for rework.

73 is under a tarp buried in snow...looks like a big snow drift!

:-(

on the plus side...had fun using the truck to pull a fallen tree out of a neighbors driveway. gotta love 8k lbs of metal with a diesel and 4x4...

24-32" here in Pikesville, MD just off the beltway. Leafblower moved a lot of the fluffy stuff, but we've dug out 3 times now and its still coming down!

Our "snow removal service" truck didn't quite cut it. He got stuck around 1:30pm then decided to blast around the neighborhood without doing much good.

This was taken about 4pm just after I pulled the tranny from Celeste. Time to shovel.

This was just taken about 7pm off our back deck. I measured 22" with a yardstick.

About 6 of my neighbors got together to shovel driveways. One neighbor has a 9:15am flight to CA tomorrow to catch a cruise. Don't think they will make it. Another neighbor is an ER nurse that has to work tomorrow morning. A couple of us helped a poor guy get his Corolla unstuck from the main street. When I walked over to his car, I noticed his tires were almost bald and he didn't know how to drive. Stupid people shouldn't be out with 22" of snow on the ground.

I'm leaving my driveway until tomorrow to tackle. We are supposed to get another 4 inches overnight!

YIKES!! I thought it had it bad when it was 34 when I was in the driveway this morning... Im sure its going to snow here this year though with all the rain we've been having.

GLAD TO BE SOUTHERN!

Heh, I was a little annoyed when I got so hot walking around downtown today I had to take my sweatshirt off. I'm going to miss that about Santa Barbara when I leave...

Old Ass Man (with snowblower) - 20 vs. Old Man Winter - 0

I had intended to keep driving my car for at least a few a weeks, but this inclement weather has put a crimp in plans. How long does my car need sit before I think about some Stabil or other gas stabilizer?
