Where can I find information to rebuild my "Heater box&

Having removed the heater box from the car to get the windshield wiper assembly out for the repaint, is any information out there to freshen up this assembly before it goes back into the car.

The parts for most of the process look to be available, and priced as the car is now a real vintage prize. I have now figured out why I have saved so many heater control valves over the years, does any one have a blower motor the want to trade?

If any one has worked out any DIY repairs, please share.

I second that I just replaced my fan and had to remove the box a few times before I got it right, its kind of a pain in the butt but definitely doable

Do you need to pull the whole heater box just to replace the fan motor? I need to replace my fan motor, but have not looked at what it takes to get it done.
