I do not remember the govenator retracting that law....all I know about the year 2010 is that I have to get my DIESEL smog checked now ;-(

I couldnt find anywhere online that says '76 does not have to be smogged. I could be wrong though.

76s are NOT smog exempt....so if in CA, the seller is responsible for smogging it unless sold as is....

I have a '76 and my registration is up for renewal in March. They didn't ask for a smog check to renew this year.......YEAH!
