69 1600-2 budget build

Ok been lurking around here for a while and thought i would post up some progress of my car It started out as a free 74 02 but it was to rusty to fix so I bought a 69 shell from an faq'er Jason (eurotrash) I pulled what was good on the 74 engine trans etc and put it in the 69 and started the body work so far its in primer and should be ready for paint in a few weeks Let me know what you think good or bad

Jim, I didn't know you had a blog! Looks good so far man. You did you replace the metal in the rockers as well.. awesome work. I'm SO looking forward to seeing that thing with paint! Its lucky to be alive man. What color are you going with?

Hey Jason Yes I did replace the rockers got them from Blunt I had to fab up the lower 1/4 where it meets the rocker Got some more done on it yesterday its ready for final prime and block then paint but will have to wait till the snow melts so I can get the other toys out of the garage I will be painting it chamonix if my paint supplier can mix it if not I'm thinking ford wimbedon white that looks close to chamonix I'll post more pics after paint

Its been awhile but I finally got some paint on the car It still needs to be color sanded and buffed I had a lot of trouble with dirt and water in my air lines but it should turn out good when done

Just wanted to update my progress the car its now painter colorsanded and buffed almost completly assembled installed new carpet and got some seats out of a late 80' 325 its almost ready for its maiden voyage I just need to find out whats going on with the charging system
