I have a 3HP22 from a 1980 320i if you are interested. It has about 195K miles on it, but worked well when removed. Looking for $50. I am in San Jose.

I was looking for a stock transmission. Seems like there is a bit of trouble to get this tranny to work. But I'm going to do some research and get back to you.

I have one in Durham, NC, original 85K miles on it (from a 76). Excellent shape. If you have a business address shipping can be around 60-70 max. I shipped a five speed to mid west for about 40 bucks, as a reference. But I am sure you can find one locally. Due to low mileage, I can sell it for about $100 (+shipping).

I just bought a '76 with an auto trans. I really want to do a 5 speed conversion so I am willing to sell it or trade for a five speed from a 80-82 320i.
