Fram vs. Frantz bypass oil filter?

Anyone notice the Fram bypass oil filter? or rather oil "Cleaner.?" NOT full flow. http://vwjudsonregister.tripod.com/fram_filter_fitting_instr.htm

Anyone use one? Does it take the same toilet paper as the Frantz?

Merci

Early cars didn't have oil filters. The Fram unit took a std paper filter.

The Frantz filter uses a media designed for slightly different service.

It's downside is that there is no positive barrier which oil flows thru and hence is subject to channeling.

I have a Frant'z unit that will fit into one of the Fram bypass units like shown.

Amazing how people are intrigued by toilet paper! It works pretty good when used as intended, except sometimes operator error.

A radiator shop is a good place to take a leak.

I have no idea what I'm doing but I know I'm really good at it.
