Radiator

I need a new radiator for my 72 02. I have looked on rockauto and found them for like $500, this is a bit out of my price range. I was wondering if there was somewhere else anyone knew of to get a radiator that wasn't so expensive or if it would be posible to use a radiator that was meant for another car (mounts are not a problem I can build some brokets or whatever would be needed if that is the issue). Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Jay

I have a good used radiator in my 75 parts car and also one from a Pinto that I'm told bolts right in. Very reasonable but shipping an issue if you can get one local to you.

Having done several of the above rad swaps, the 320 rad from

an 80-83 WITH ALL THE 320 hoses is really easy and around $200. For new.

And it works better than stock, a bit.

The Pinto is hard to mount, and the Volvo one requires more fab than

the 320 for not much gain. And I seem to remember that hoses are harder

than the 320.

Or you could take yours to a shop.

Or buy Curt's, because, damn, it's pretty.

Or try a used one. It's all I run because at $25 from the junkyard,

if 2 out of 4 are good, I'm still money ahead.
